Country split and other junk
So I am here just writing my thoughts on things that come up while at work. There is the occasional person that we all do not get along with in our workplace. I have found pride in the fact that I can usually smooth things over to where we have conversations or even become friends of sorts. I did that with one that sits behind me a while back. The elections changed all that. Along with some others this person claims that Obama is the saving grace this country needs. I am not quiet about how I feel especially when I feel people are accusing and attacking those things I feel are right. Now since I am one of the few that feel the way I do I have noticed that normal conversations that I used to be a part of I am excluded from, not like accidentally, but when I try to join in backs are turned and people get angry with me. Wow... One claims I have no right to think I know what it feels to be different because I am white (she is Filipino). Yeah, I have been in a situations where whenever I would walk down the road, here in Phoenix, I would be mocked, yelled at, spit at (sometimes with drink, sometimes with food, once with a wad of chew that got all over my face). I have had guns put in my face and told that I would be shot if I did not leave immediately. I have been stared at as I walked through a store because of who I was, not because of the color of my skin, because even those that were white hated me, but because of what I wore on my chest, a little black name-tag. These things happened every day for 2 years. Oh yeah... Where I grew up I had to take a different route home almost every day throughout Jr. High and my first year and part of my Sophomore year in High school due to fear of getting the crap kicked out of me. there were very few that I associated with that know of my these issues due to the fact that they did not need to or they were not there to witness them. I had two friends that I have cherished as friends because they stood up for me, both on accident because they happened to be there when something was going on. Once because this friend happened to catch the group of kids beating me down behind a restaurant that was across the street from the Jr. High. The kids had me pinned down in the snow and were punching my head while smashing ice and snow into my face and mouth, suffocating me at times. Some of the kids were in High School, I was in 8Th grade. The other happened in on it because I was visiting him in his fathers repair shop and some kids that bullied me regularly walked past and saw me in there, the five of them came in to the shop and came after me. My friend would not have stood a chance against them, neither would I, and he did not have to stand up for me but he asked several times for them to leave. There were times I had to cross the street and walk on the other side of the street due to certain persons walking on the side I was on, afraid that they would see me. I never went through a summer that I could totally enjoy carelessly as a child should be without running into someone that I would have to run from as fast as I could or ride my bike as fast as I could to get home to avoid getting the crap kicked out of me. I had kids wait around the corner and jump me and jump on the side of my head (yes, full on jumping with both feet and full weight, none of that stomping crap). I was scared out of my wits to leave the Jr. High that I went to because of the fact that they could be around any corner. I was afraid of kids that were 2-3 years younger than me that would gang up on me. All of that is true. You want to talk about fear? Feeling different? I still have nightmares about it. I Had people that I considered friends corner me and allow some of these bullies to bounce my head off the walls where no one could hear it. That happened several times, once I was knocked out and they kicked me and beat me for a while while I was knocked out. The teacher at that time just asked what was wrong as the same friend who stopped the other kids behind the restaurant carried me out of the locker room, barely able to walk. Teachers never did anything, the principle of the Jr. High that I was at hardly ever did a thing, mostly I got detention, for reasons I have no clue why! these same teachers would tell me that I would not be able to attain those things I dreamed of because I was not that "type" of child, some of them calling me stupid. Now I am being told that I have no clue what it is like to be different? I have no clue what it is like to be on the other end of hate crimes? My life from 7-16 was hate crimes against me, then again from 19-21. Sorry if I have rambled on about it, but the point I am trying to make is that you should never judge, NEVER. We all have our trials, we all have our issues, for one to say that because someone is white, black, thin, fat, tall short, all that crap does not mean that they have never felt hate against them, that they would never know what it is like to be one way or another, please leave the judging to the one who earned the job, Christ Himself.

Watching the Idiot Box (TV) this morning was actually quite astounding. Glen Beck was on the Morning show with Mike and Juliet and stated that right now "the constitution is hanging by a thread" It hit me hard at that moment. Here is a man that has the most listened to radio talk show in the country, and he is stating this and NO ONE is really listening to what he is saying. Either that or no one listens to the radio... OR... those of us who are in the know are all united whole the rest of the country is distracted with what celebrities are doing, or sports, or trash morning radio. I think last one is the real issue. WAKE UP PEOPLE! This is the time to stand for what you believe, to unite and refrain from looking at differences, time to look to God, time to look to the histories of other nations along with our own. Time to open your eyes.
EDIT: The main reasons why the Constitution is hanging by a thread are: The inability for a Filibuster in congress by Conservatives. This means no opposition for any bill to go through, bills that are slowly stripping your rights as a citizen. Our president elect would like to replace 3-4 of our Supreme Court Judges with extremely liberal judges, making it possible that if a bill he wants to get through congress does not pass he can just turn to the bench and have them legislate from there (which is unconstitutional but happens from time to time). Along with replacing them he plans on replacing all 93 US Attorneys his first day in office...(this sounds more and more dictatorial to me as I go on) This would allow him to put in those that are all in alignment with him, preventing any opposition, just like a good dictator likes.

The combination of Obama and Pelosi's leftwing congress is something to fear. It equals pretty much an unsaid mission to socialize America; with a Democratically controlled congress and no filibuster capability of the Republicans, and Obama's administration, this country would be headed directly for Socialism. Socialism has been spoken to us by the leaders of our country and the leaders of our church, along with warnings against Communism from the same sources. We need to stand up and raise the title of liberty once again! Stand up for your freedoms, do not allow yourselves to be deceived by those that promise a better way of life through taking your liberties away!

I feel that in the time coming that there will be many good, freedom loving people that helped elect our new president that in the coming years will look back at the changes that have happened and tell themselves that this was not the change they were promised or wanted.

Stance
I want everyone to know and understand my stance on our new President to be. I will support and follow him as long as he upholds his oath in office. As long as he does not violate the rights of Americans, undermine the Constitution, or lead us into anything like Socialism/Communism. The road there can be fast or it can be taken slowly. For every move that is made that does not run true with the Constitution I will cry fowl. On the same note, if I am proven wrong and things move according to the Constitution, then I will stand and applaud. I pray that I will be applauding more than calling fowls.

Marriage and rights.
If you have not heard already, in California there is a movement to strike back against those that supported Prop 8, amending California's constitution to ban same sex marriage. They are targeting those of us that are Mormon. Twice the people in CA have spoken, twice they have stated that marriage consists of a man and a woman. The first time was overturned by the Liberal CA Supreme Court due to the CA Constitution not defining marriage. The second time it was an amendment to the CA Constitution, unable to be overturned by the courts. Now as we watch the news you will see there are protesters gathering in the streets to move against this. So help me understand the mentality of this; If I don't get my way, protest until I do? Then lets do the same, I don't like the fact that we have a communist president that is being hailed as the Messiah by some people. It is not his color that I rail against, it is his history, his stance on things, his blatant lying and his Socialistic/Communistic/Marxist/Jihad Muslim ties. Lets get people all over the US to stand up against him, before he raises his own "SA/BrownShirt" Army. He has already called for it.
I know what I say is not read by many, but I hope that those that do read understand that we are at war here. It is not a war fought with guns (at least not yet) but a war over what is right and what is wrong. There is a belief that Satan is not real, there is a belief that he is a figure made to scare little children. I tell you he is real, as is our Savior Jesus Christ, and that this war is fought not only here amongst us with words, but amongst those on the other side. We as Christians and especially Mormons have been silent too long. This movement that has started in CA is just the beginning. Web sites have popped up stating that we stole their rights, and another taking the words of our beloved Gordan B Hinkly and using them for this great evil, compelling those of religious background to denounce their church, mainly aimed at Mormons.

This was used in the campaign to get Prop 8 repealed. I believe it is a call for all of us to stand up, to be silent no more. I am tired of hearing about how different organizations have made it wrong to show your religion, to show our heritage as a country. Stand up! I know that we as Mormons have been closed off to other religions due to religious views, but we must look at the commonalities. We all believe in Marriage, whatever way we do, that it is between a man and a woman as has been defined throughout history, as it was set up through religion in the first place. Only recently have governments interfered with this sacred tradition and allowed same sex marriage. The Opponents of Proposition 8 have stated that we need to keep the separation of church and state. I call for the same, keep the government out of religious practices! Same sex couples have almost all the same liberties as married couples in CA, so why encroach upon a religious ceremony? Again, I call for Christians across the board, put down your differences and unite. I am not calling for hate against those that choose to live an alternate lifestyle, I do not hate the person, but I do not condone the breaking of Gods laws.

Our Country Tis of Thee
We just elected a man that once stated that the Constitution "reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day" among other things he has stated there. A man who's involvement with the Socialist/Communistic embedded New Party of Illinois. The New Party was the creation of the quasi-Marxist Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and the radical community organization ACORN. The Communist Party splinter group Committees of Correspondence (CoC) was also involved.

I urge everyone to read the constitution as I urged in my previous post, read it, print it up and put it in a safe place, and most of all: tell everyone you know to do the same. Print it up for them if need be. Most people will not due this due to the state of laziness and dependency we as a people have come to.

Obama has been suckled on the teachings of Malcolm X who stated, "You will never get real freedom and recognition between black and white people in this country without destroying the country, without destroying the present political system, without destroying the present economic system, without rewriting the entire constitution. It will be a complete destruction of everything that America supposedly stands for."
In his memoirs Obama states,"Only Malcom X's autobiography seemed to offer something different. His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me. the blunt poetry of his words. His unadorned insistence on respect. He promised a new and uncomprimising order, marshall in it's discipline." "but my journy is part of a larger journey - one shared by all who've ever sought to... bring an empire to it's knees."
This is the man that is supposed to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; and bear true faith and allegiance to the same"
I have mixed feelings as to where I stand. I am told that as a citizen I am to follow the leaders of our country, and follow its laws. I firmly believe that our new president is a supporter of socialism/Marxism/communism. I also believe that due to his policies about making coal companies go bankrupt and his "spread the wealth" tax will only make me as the little guy pay more taxes on what I spend due to the large companies passing the buck to the consumers. Along that same lines we will see unemployment go up due to the big companies unable to keep employees due to the new tax. I also believe that this is very unconstitutional, but I digress from my original start.
So along that same digression:The general peoples understanding of how an economy works reminds me of the story of ten friends that went to lunch every day at a very nice restaurant:
Suppose that every day, ten men go outfor beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our TAXES, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay$59.
So, that's what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.
'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by$20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.'
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'
They realized that $20 divided by six is$3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, nowpaid nothing (100% savings)
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of$12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of$18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free.
But once outside the restaurant the men began to compare their savings. 'I only got a dollar out ofthe $20,' declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,'but he got $10!'
'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifthman. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!'
'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man.'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'
'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up!
The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.
The misunderstanding of politics and Obama's history are astounding to me. Many friends and people from my ultra conservative home town even voted for the new president to be. I am blown away at how many people do not do their homework on items. I am blown away at how this country was smoothed over by his forked tongue, how quick they were to forgive him on his lies and mistakes and how fast they were to judge his opponents. I am reminded of how people reacted and loved Hitler, how they wooed over his words and cheered at his speeches while those in power in the surrounding nations watched and were afraid to make him mad. A friend of mine that used to live in a dictatorship country told me months before it happened that Obama would eventually not allow those around him that did not support his thoughts, that he would rid himself of those very people, because that is what a dictator does. A few months later, just a week or more ago Obama made all reporters that wrote for magazines or news outlets that did not support him leave his camp. It opened my eyes a bit more. I did not agree wholeheartedly with McCain, but I was not going to throw my vote at the persons I did agree with. The fact that I knew if I did that it would give Obama that much more power. We will now see what he does with that power.
I will save more of my personal thoughts on Obama's Regime for another post, this post has too many paths as is.

I urge everyone to read the constitution as I urged in my previous post, read it, print it up and put it in a safe place, and most of all: tell everyone you know to do the same. Print it up for them if need be. Most people will not due this due to the state of laziness and dependency we as a people have come to.

Obama has been suckled on the teachings of Malcolm X who stated, "You will never get real freedom and recognition between black and white people in this country without destroying the country, without destroying the present political system, without destroying the present economic system, without rewriting the entire constitution. It will be a complete destruction of everything that America supposedly stands for."
In his memoirs Obama states,"Only Malcom X's autobiography seemed to offer something different. His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me. the blunt poetry of his words. His unadorned insistence on respect. He promised a new and uncomprimising order, marshall in it's discipline." "but my journy is part of a larger journey - one shared by all who've ever sought to... bring an empire to it's knees."
This is the man that is supposed to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; and bear true faith and allegiance to the same"
I have mixed feelings as to where I stand. I am told that as a citizen I am to follow the leaders of our country, and follow its laws. I firmly believe that our new president is a supporter of socialism/Marxism/communism. I also believe that due to his policies about making coal companies go bankrupt and his "spread the wealth" tax will only make me as the little guy pay more taxes on what I spend due to the large companies passing the buck to the consumers. Along that same lines we will see unemployment go up due to the big companies unable to keep employees due to the new tax. I also believe that this is very unconstitutional, but I digress from my original start.
So along that same digression:The general peoples understanding of how an economy works reminds me of the story of ten friends that went to lunch every day at a very nice restaurant:
Suppose that every day, ten men go outfor beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our TAXES, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay$59.
So, that's what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.
'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by$20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.'
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'
They realized that $20 divided by six is$3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, nowpaid nothing (100% savings)
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of$12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of$18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free.
But once outside the restaurant the men began to compare their savings. 'I only got a dollar out ofthe $20,' declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,'but he got $10!'
'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifthman. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!'
'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man.'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'
'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up!
The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.
The misunderstanding of politics and Obama's history are astounding to me. Many friends and people from my ultra conservative home town even voted for the new president to be. I am blown away at how many people do not do their homework on items. I am blown away at how this country was smoothed over by his forked tongue, how quick they were to forgive him on his lies and mistakes and how fast they were to judge his opponents. I am reminded of how people reacted and loved Hitler, how they wooed over his words and cheered at his speeches while those in power in the surrounding nations watched and were afraid to make him mad. A friend of mine that used to live in a dictatorship country told me months before it happened that Obama would eventually not allow those around him that did not support his thoughts, that he would rid himself of those very people, because that is what a dictator does. A few months later, just a week or more ago Obama made all reporters that wrote for magazines or news outlets that did not support him leave his camp. It opened my eyes a bit more. I did not agree wholeheartedly with McCain, but I was not going to throw my vote at the persons I did agree with. The fact that I knew if I did that it would give Obama that much more power. We will now see what he does with that power.
I will save more of my personal thoughts on Obama's Regime for another post, this post has too many paths as is.
